This message is from Kim Stare Wallace, President, Dry Creek Vineyard, Sonoma, California
Today marks our 45th anniversary! On August 24, 1972 my father, David Stare, received the use permit to open the first winery in Dry Creek Valley since Prohibition was repealed. Since that day, we have been committed to producing 90+ point, appellation-focused, terroir-driven wines in the heart of Sonoma County.
But what makes our family winery so special is the team of people behind it. We are fortunate to regularly celebrate 10-year, 25-year, and even 40-year anniversaries of the people who work here! What makes us different is that we are not just family owned – we are a family.
The video below shows the faces and smiles behind your favorite Dry Creek Vineyard wines. We hope you will watch it and raise a glass with us to celebrate 45 years of family winemaking.
Cheers,
